    3. This was the last book that I read during my Kindle Unlimited trial It is the third Bibliomystery that I have read These are short stories in which books play a central role in some way In this story, a bookstore owner is killed, and it is up to Columbo to not only figure out who it was, but to find enough evidence to prove it, as well I am not a Columbo fan He is a bit before my time I may have seen one or two episodes, but I am not sure From what I can tell, though, this read follows the typic [...]

    4. Just one thing, sir A clever, but short but oh so sweet investigation for Lt Columbo, penned by one of his creators William Link the other being Link s long time writing partner, the late Richard Levinson This is one of a collection of so called Bibliomysteries , where books are involved in some way shape or form with all the crimes. The genius rumpled detective, played to perfection by the late, great Peter Falk, is greatly missed, and this original short story was a welcome little treat

    5. Funny me I remember having watched Columbo ages ago I did not know the series was based on a character by Mr Link This is a short story I listened to on audible that had great narration and was definitely in Columbo style I enjoyed it quite a lot on my walk this afternoon The narrator even used a Peter Falk style accent when reading Columbo s parts Great detective short If you liked the tv series I highly recommend this.

    6. Remember Columbo Well, call me ignorant, but I never realized that very cool TV series was based on a series of stories and novels by William Link this story is one of these.A rare book dealer murdered by his own books, a scheming nephew, a cunning, spoiled niece and that all too familiar detective I can still see Peter Falk, right make this short story a memorable onefor mystery and book lovers alike.Read it, you ll love it

    7. Lt Columbo is back William Link s story introduces the reader to a wealthy old book dealer and his nephew, who is too greedy and impatient to wait for his inheritance The desperate, flawed characters in this classic noir tale are vividly drawn but their schemes are no match for the unflappable Lt Columbo, who pursues the criminal with his typical humor and wit.

    8. A pleasant, minor story starring Detective Columbo written by the show s co creator, William Link. The plot isn t very clever with the twists we came to expect on telvision, and the voice of Peter Faulk is sorely missed. Not great, but an okay beach read.

    9. This is essentially an offbrand Columbo fanfic It s pretty terrible writing, but I listened to the audio, which is great The narrator saved the story, complete with a good Culumbo impression.

    10. This turns out to be a Lieutenant Columbo mystery by the TV series co creator, part of the Bibliomysteries series of whodunits involving books.
