    1. Full disclosure up front I know Jess, and as a fellow author, consider him both an inspiration and a pain in the tucus at times, because he is just so darn good at what he does I have to work very hard for my own novels to be as good. That said, TPB delivers Jess is a wordsmith at the height of his creative powers, and he has crafted a marvel of a literary work Partial retelling of the Don Quixote story that makes pains to say it IS NOT such a thing, and then proceeds to be EXACTLY such a thing , [...]

    2. I loved the whole premise because I love, love, love burritos and the idea of traveling the length of California to find The Perfect Burrito was a wonderful vison and just made my mouth water The story took some twists and turns that changed the direction of the story I still enjoyed those twists even if they felt a bit far fetched.

    3. Jess Winfield is both witty and insightful In this story of an unlikely traveling duo searching for the perfect, most authentic and delicious burrito, we get both a personal story and epicurean review of California s burrito purveyors The book is a great read, especially for those who enjoy Mexican food.
